We are shifting the conversation about what public service can be in our Nation's fourth largest city. We are sharing our vision for a Houston that responds to decades-old issues with a focus toward cooperative innovation.
At our kick-off, we announced our current work groups geared towards increasing
municipal employees and contractors pay scale to a livable wage; identifying expansion opportunities for early childhood educational programming; and ending the scourge of human trafficking.
We are grateful to have been positively received at every meeting, event, and visit with our neighbors throughout the city. There's a growing civic energy that's palpable -- we're all working harder and giving more of our time to craft a future for Houston that will continue to make us proud.
Our campaign is pushing forward with that same boundless energy and promise, but we need you.
We will be ramping up our phone banking and adding house parties to our calendar over the summer. Please let us know if you'd like to become a volunteer or host an event.
Our team welcomes opportunities to share our message with your network. Feel free to send any invitations, here.
Is the work-life balancing act demanding your attention, but you'd still like to fortify our movement for better governance? Please consider a donation; any amount helps.
This campaign season is picking up speed, and November will be here in no-time. We can no longer be passive in the City's evolution.
